20th Reunion (Class of 2002)

Celebrating 20 Years

The Class of 2002 Remembers

In 2002, Taiwan officially joined the World Trade Organization; Kmart became the largest retailer in U.S. history to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection; former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize; the Euro became the official currency of twelve of the European Union's Members; the XIX Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City, Utah; Mars Odyssey found signs of large ice deposits on the planet Mars; "How You Remind Me" by Nickelback topped the music charts and "A Beautiful Mind" won Best Picture at the Academy Awards; and on Roland Avenue, the great Gilman Class of 2002 walked across the graduation stage!

Looking forward to making new memories with members of your class and other fellow alumni? Join us for Alumni Weekend 2022, Friday, April 22-Sunday, April 24. REGISTER HERE.

The Gilman News

Your Support Makes a Difference

We remain grateful to the many alumni who continue to support Gilman during this unpredictable time. Gifts in honor of your reunion help uphold Gilman's legacy of leadership, providing the boys following in your footsteps with the foundation needed to lead in the classroom, on the field, and in their communities. Your impact is immediate, giving students access to a dedicated faculty who lead by example every day; tuition assistance for exceptional scholars with demonstrated financial need; and innovative programs that allow the School to educate the whole boy in mind, body, and spirit.

On behalf of the students who are and will continue to be the beneficiaries of your generosity, thank you for investing in tomorrow's leaders with your gift. Give now at gilman.edu/giving or by Venmo: @GilmanSchool.
