Celebrating 35 Years
The Class of 1987 Remembers
In 1987, "The Simpsons" premiered as a short cartoon on The Tracey Ullman Show; the Food and Drug Administration approved the anti-AIDS drug, AZT; the first heart-lung transplant took place in Baltimore, Maryland; U.S. President Ronald Reagan publicly challenged Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall; the Montreal Protocol was signed to protect the ozone layer from depletion; Black Monday hit the stock market, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 22 percent, 508 points; and on Roland Avenue, the great Gilman Class of 1987 walked across the graduation stage!

The Gilman News
Your Support Makes a Difference
We remain grateful to the many alumni who continue to support Gilman during this unpredictable time. Gifts in honor of your reunion help uphold Gilman's legacy of leadership, providing the boys following in your footsteps with the foundation needed to lead in the classroom, on the field, and in their communities. Your impact is immediate, giving students access to a dedicated faculty who lead by example every day; tuition assistance for exceptional scholars with demonstrated financial need; and innovative programs that allow the School to educate the whole boy in mind, body, and spirit.
On behalf of the students who are and will continue to be the beneficiaries of your generosity, thank you for investing in tomorrow's leaders with your gift. Give now at gilman.edu/giving or by Venmo: @GilmanSchool.
