5th Reunion (Class of 2016)

Celebrating 5 Years

The Class of 2016 Remembers

In 2016, Bob Dylan was honored with the Nobel Peace Prize; Kamala Harris became the first Indian American senator and California’s first Black senator; Britons voted to leave the European Union; Donald Trump was elected President of the United States; Beyoncé and “Hamilton” ruled the pop and Broadway charts, respectively; musical greats George Michael, David Bowie, Glenn Frey, Prince, Merle Haggard, and Leonard Cohen all passed away; Peyton Manning led the Denver Broncos to a Super Bowl victory in his final game; Lebron James brought an NBA Championship to his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers; Usain Bolt reclaimed his status as the world's fastest man at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro; but, the true highlight of the year was the graduation of the Gilman Class of 2016.

Gifts in honor of your reunion are making a meaningful difference, better positioning the School to ensure that each boy continues to have access to the same Gilman education that allowed you to grow in mind, body, and spirit. 2021 Class Notes

During these uncertain times, Gilman continues to strive to strengthen the mind, body, and spirit of its students...and of its alumni. Now more than ever, we are excited to celebrate what inspires and connects us. We hope that you enjoyed this trip down memory lane and, despite the pandemic-driven social distancing and travel restrictions, are still able to share with us a story of an encounter with a classmate.
