The Gilman Classics Club recently hosted its Second Annual Certamen. Sixty students from public and independent schools around the state of Maryland came to campus to participate in trivia competitions. They answered questions on a variety of topics, including Latin grammar, Greek and Roman mythology, and Roman history. As the hosts, our boys did not participate, instead helping set up and keeping score during the rounds. They look forward to competing at the state convention, which takes place on April 6-7 at Easton High School.
