Gilman Artists take Top Prizes in Young Artists Showcase

Artwork by Spencer Churchill '18, Will DeMuth '18, and Ethan Hoskins '19 was displayed at the annual Young Artists Showcase, an event hosted by the Optimist Club of Timonium and Baltimore County Public Library. Ethan's painting won 1st place in the Painting and Mixed Media category. Will's piece won 2nd place. They were honored at a reception at the Hereford library branch. This exhibition featured original, two-dimensional works by high school students in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

In addition to his work in fine arts, Ethan is a sprinter on the track team. Will is a team captain for varsity lacrosse and soccer. Spencer plays guitar in the school band and has performed throughout the city.
